Big Apple Country

NYC, the most diverse city in the world, falls short in one important respect.  Radio Programming has been limited to those genres fitting demographic & marketing formulas.  One vacuum created by commercial radio is the lack of country music programming.  NYC is probably the only place in the United Stated without country music on the radio.

The non-commercial WFDU has been quietly filling that void for several years & is now putting a new face on the country show called "Big Apple Country."

Please join us as we gather fans of this genre. There is strength in numbers.  A show of support helps us to expand country music radio programming in NYC & will encourage venues to book country acts here.
