The Jambalaya Brass Band will kick off the show at 1 PM. The band is all about the brass & percussive sounds that we associate with New Orleans and the Mardi Gras. You have often heard Nikki play selections from the new CD “It's A Jungle Out There.” Now you’ll get to hear them live! http://www.jambalayabrassband.com/
At around the two o'clock hour, Nikki welcomes the Alexis P Suter band to the atomic underground. These veterans of the legendary Levon Helm's Midnight Rambles, the Imus show, and many blues festivals, will be performing with Jimmy Thackery at BB Kings on 4/10 and releasing their next album a week later. Alexis’ powerful gospel tinged blues and R&B vocals will leave you breathless. Hearing this band live is an experience you will not soon forget.
