What a weekend!
So much emotions, stress, laugh and tears!
I met the most wonderful people: Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk Jr, all the judges of course, and all the beautiful singers that were participating in the competition!
The semi-finals were on Saturday and every singer sounded amazing! Here is an article about it:

So I am now officially one of the three Monk finalists!
The finals were held at the Kennedy Center in Washington yesterday. There were around 2000 people there and it was sold out!
I was given a $5000 scholarship that I will use in private lessons to perfect my vocal technique and craft.
Among the finalists, check out an other girl with French origins, in first place: Cecile McLorin Salvant, wonderful singer and person.
All I gotta say: "Vive la France!"
:)
